In this Policy, "we", "us", "our", "Interactive Studio" or the "Provider" refers to EL Industries GmbH.
"You", "your" or the "Buyer" refers to the person or entity that purchases or uses a template.
II. Scope and acceptance
This Policy governs the licensing and use of all Wix Studio templates and related design assets that we make available for purchase or download (each a "Template"), whether obtained through our own website (interactive-studio.io), the Wix Template Marketplace, or any other channel we authorise.
Purchasing, downloading, installing, or using a Template constitutes your acceptance of this Policy in full. This Policy applies in addition to — and does not replace — the terms of any third-party platform through which a Template is distributed or used (see Section 9).
III. Definitions

Template — a Wix Studio website template, design, layout, and its accompanying files and demo content made available by Interactive Studio.

Interactive Studio Apps — the Wix applications developed by Interactive Studio, including in particular Aura Suite, Spline Control, and Motion Flow, which power certain interactive and visual features of our Templates.

End Project — the final, customised website that you build for yourself or for a client using a Template.

Consumer — a natural person acting for purposes outside their trade, business, or profession, within the meaning of § 13 of the German Civil Code (BGB).
IV. Licence granted to you
When you purchase a Template, we grant you a perpetual, worldwide, non-exclusive licence to use that Template, subject to this Policy. This licence allows you to:

use the Template to build and publish your own projects;

use the Template to build and publish projects for your clients, as part of your design, agency, or freelance work; and
-
modify, adapt, and customise the Template for use in an End Project.
The customised End Project you create — your content, your branding, and the finished website — is yours to use, publish, and operate. Ownership of the underlying Template itself, however, remains with Interactive Studio (see Sections 5 and 8).
Each purchase grants one licence for use as described above. If you require broader rights (for example, full ownership or resale rights), please contact us before purchasing.
V. What you may not do
The licence does not allow you to, and you agree not to:

resell, redistribute, sublicense, sell, share, lease, or otherwise make available the Template itself — in whole or in substantial part — as a template, theme, UI kit, or competing product;

make the Template (or a lightly modified version of it) available for others to download, purchase, or reuse as a template;
-
transfer, assign, or sublicense your licence to any third party, except that a finished End Project may be delivered to the single client for whom it was built;
-
remove, obscure, or falsify any copyright, authorship, or proprietary notices in the Template or the Interactive Studio Apps; or
-
claim to be the original author or creator of the Template.
For clarity: building unlimited End Projects for yourself and for clients is expressly permitted; redistributing the Template as a template is not.
VI. Interactive Studio Apps and watermark
Our Templates are designed to work with the Interactive Studio Apps (including Aura Suite, Spline Control, and Motion Flow). Certain interactive, animated, or visual features of a Template will only function fully when the relevant Interactive Studio App is installed and activated on your Wix site.
You should be aware that:

The Interactive Studio Apps must be installed and activated in your Wix site for the Template to work as shown in the demo.

On the free plan, the Interactive Studio Apps display a watermark.

To use the Apps without a watermark and unlock their full functionality, a paid subscription to the relevant App is required. Interactive Studio Apps are sold and billed through the Wix App Market, separately from the purchase of the Template.

The App subscription is a recurring charge and is independent of the one-time Template purchase. Pricing, plans, and features of the Apps are governed by the terms shown in the Wix App Market and may change over time.

Use of the Interactive Studio Apps is additionally subject to the terms and privacy notices applicable to each App and to Wix.
Purchasing a Template does not include an App subscription, and the presence of a watermark on the free plan is expected behaviour, not a defect.
VII. Fees, payment, and taxes
The price of a Template is a one-time fee for the licence described in Section 4. Any subscription to the Interactive Studio Apps is charged separately and on a recurring basis through the Wix App Market.
Prices are stated inclusive or exclusive of applicable taxes as indicated at checkout. You are responsible for any taxes, duties, or charges imposed by your jurisdiction that are not collected by us or by the distributing platform.
VIII. Intellectual property
All intellectual property rights in the Templates, the Interactive Studio Apps, and their design, code, structure, and demo assets remain the exclusive property of Interactive Studio (EL Industries GmbH) or its licensors. Nothing in this Policy transfers ownership of a Template to you; you receive only the licence set out in Section 4.
Templates may include or reference third-party assets — such as fonts, stock images, icons, or illustrations — that are used for demonstration purposes and are not licensed to you as part of the Template. Before publishing an End Project, you are responsible for ensuring that any such third-party assets are properly licensed for your use, or replaced with assets you are entitled to use. Demo content and placeholder text must be replaced with your own content before going live.
IX. Third-party platforms (Wix and marketplaces)
Our Templates are built for and used within the Wix / Wix Studio ecosystem and may be distributed through the Wix Template Marketplace or other marketplaces. Your use of Wix, the Wix App Market, and any marketplace is subject to that platform's own terms of service and policies.
Where a Template is obtained through a third-party marketplace, the licence and usage terms of that marketplace apply to that transaction and, to the extent they conflict with this Policy for that channel, the marketplace's terms govern. This Policy otherwise applies to your use of the Template.
X. Data processing and privacy
In connection with the sale and support of our Templates and the operation of the Interactive Studio Apps, we process personal data — including email addresses and related account, purchase, and support information. How we collect, use, and protect this data is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of this Policy.
You are separately responsible for the personal data that you or your End Users process through any End Project you build. In particular, you are responsible for providing your own privacy policy, cookie notices, imprint/legal notice, and any consents required by applicable law on your published website. Interactive Studio is not responsible for the data-protection compliance of End Projects created by you.
XI. Refunds
Templates are digital goods that are made available for immediate download and use. For this reason, all sales are final and Templates are non-refundable once the purchase is completed and the Template has been made available to you.
Where you purchase as a Consumer and a statutory right of withdrawal would otherwise apply, you expressly agree that we begin providing the digital content immediately upon purchase, you consent to this, and you acknowledge that you thereby lose your statutory right of withdrawal once provision has begun (§ 356 (5) BGB). Any mandatory statutory rights that cannot be excluded remain unaffected. Refunds for recurring App subscriptions are handled by the Wix App Market in accordance with its terms.
XII. Templates provided "as is" / no warranty
Templates and Interactive Studio Apps are provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent permitted by law, we do not warrant that a Template will be error-free, uninterrupted, compatible with every configuration, or fit for a particular purpose, or that it will meet your specific requirements. Templates depend on third-party platforms (Wix and the Interactive Studio Apps), and their availability and behaviour may change outside our control.
Statutory warranty rights for defects that apply to paid digital products under mandatory law remain unaffected by this Section.
XIII. Limitation of Liability
We are fully liable for damages arising from injury to life, body, or health caused by our negligent or intentional breach of duty, and for damages caused by our intent or gross negligence, as well as under the German Product Liability Act (Produkthaftungsgesetz) and to the extent we have assumed a guarantee.
For slight negligence, we are liable only where we breach a material contractual obligation (a duty whose fulfilment is essential to the proper performance of the contract and on whose observance you may reasonably rely). In such cases, our liability is limited to the foreseeable damage typical for this type of contract.
Any further liability is excluded. In particular, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, loss of profit, loss of data, business interruption, or reputational harm arising directly or indirectly from the use of, or inability to use, our Templates or Interactive Studio Apps, or from any End Project you build with them.
The above limitations also apply in favour of our legal representatives, employees, and agents.
XIV. Your responsibility and indemnification
You are responsible for how you use a Template, for the content you add, and for the End Projects you publish. You agree to indemnify and hold Interactive Studio harmless from any third-party claims arising from your breach of this Policy, your misuse of a Template, or the content and operation of your End Projects, except to the extent such claims result from our own intent or gross negligence.
XV. Changes to Templates, Apps, and this Policy
We may update, improve, or discontinue Templates and Interactive Studio Apps over time. We may also amend this Policy to reflect changes in our products, our business, or applicable law. The current version is always available on this page with the "Last updated" date shown above. Your continued use of a Template after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy. The Policy in force at the time of your purchase governs that purchase.
XVI. Term and termination
The licence granted to you is perpetual for the Template you purchased, unless terminated for a material breach of this Policy. If you materially breach this Policy — in particular the restrictions in Section 5 — we may terminate your licence, in which case you must stop using and distributing the Template. Termination of a Template licence does not by itself affect your live End Projects that were created in compliance with this Policy, but does end your right to reuse the Template for new projects.
XVII. Governing law and jurisdiction
This Policy is governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG). Where you are a Consumer, this choice of law does not deprive you of the protection of mandatory provisions of the law of your country of habitual residence.
To the extent permitted by law, the courts having jurisdiction for the registered seat of EL Industries GmbH shall be the place of jurisdiction for all disputes arising out of or in connection with this Policy. Mandatory statutory rules on jurisdiction, in particular for Consumers, remain unaffected.
XVIII. Severability
If any provision of this Policy is or becomes invalid or unenforceable, the validity of the remaining provisions shall not be affected. The invalid provision shall be replaced by a valid provision that comes closest to the economic intent of the original.
